Why Does The Computers Freeze Up And Restart Internet Explorer?

We have 3 computers. Each computer freezes up alot and internet explorer has to restart.On my sons computer it completely kills the computer. The cable company said its not on their end. The modem is theirs. The say its my old router,,all so the wallplug is kinda loose where we have them both plugged in at at the wall. My son and I both have vista and the other one is xp. Its not like we get on each others computers to pass a virus.

  2. the computers are having this kind of problem most likely have a virus. Still have those wonderful things that came with the computers? reformat them, put in the disks labeled “Windows Vista” or “Windows xp”, BUT ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE THE DRIVERS STILL TO DO THIS. this is a very geeky way of handling this problem. if you need 1 on 1 help email kky2kgod@yahoo.com and i can instruct step by step what to do.
